Intentional Photography

Photography theory is where exceptional photography begins.Understanding light and how a camera captures light is the basis to becoming a well-balanced photographer. A photographer works to photograph under any given circumstance. Regardless of weather or ideal lighting, photography theory will enable a photographer to capture the image.

It is important to count the camera as a part of the body, by controlling it,harnessing its power, and working with its limitations. The common misconception is that expensive camera gear will result in better photography. But without photography theory, even the most luxurious of cameras will not solve difficult circumstances.

With modern technology, automatic settings in cameras are daily improving. Cameras, like many man made tools, do not possess the ability to capture or represent human intuition, thought or emotions. These human elements are the basic makeup of what differentiates each photographer in a unique and personal way.

When a photographer embraces photography theory, a sense of true freedom may be experienced in capturing his or her surroundings.
